Tiger Plaza is a gift from the MU Alumni Association and other private donors. And, the bronze tiger sculpture is MU’s newest landmark. The square features a life-size bronze Bengal tiger (created by renowned sculptor Forest Hart). The sculpture stands above the waterfall, which is engraved with the plaque of MU’s alma mater. The plaza opened in October 2002 during the university’s homecoming celebration.
