Western Bronze Dragon Statue Production Process:
Step 1. Our professional clay artist begins by making a 1:1 clay mold with the confirmed drawings.
Step 2. The mold is made of a clay pattern or as a mold for gypsum, or a flexible gel or similar rubber-like material, stabilized by several pieces of gypsum jacket.
Step 3. Once the production mold is obtained, then cast wax (hollow for larger sculptures) is cast from the mold.
Step 4. The complete wax structure (and core, if previously added) is then placed in another mold or shell and heated in the kiln until the wax is used up and all free moisture is removed.
Step 5. Then quickly fill the molten bronze.
Step 6. After the final polishing, a corrosive material could be applied to form the copper rust, which allows for some control over color and finish.
