Customized Figure Introduction:
Our Gambian client also introduced us to the purpose of the custom bust statue. They are members of a club and want to place a custom marble bust statue at the entrance of the club. To commemorate the passing of Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara(16th May, 1924-27th August 2019), the first President of The Gambia. Our clients tell us that Jawara has made a huge contribution to the sport of Golf and its awareness in The Gambia and thereafter to the Fajara Club and especially its Caddies and Professional Golfers.
When our sales Venus learned about this story, both Venus and our team attached great importance to this customized bust. Make A 1:1 Clay Model:
Making a 1:1 clay sculpture is the basis for carving a custom marble bust. Therefore, in order to be able to restore the details of the characters, You Fine have a professional clay mold master to complete the production of the clay mold. Our clay mold master Mr. Jin is very good at making figure clay mold. And, in order to get the details of the characters, our master has a comprehensive and detailed understanding of Sir Dawda Jawara’s story. After the clay mold sculpture is completed, our sales will send the finished pictures to the client for confirmation and the client was very satisfied with the model.
Pure Hand-Carved Process:
After that, our team will actively proceed to the next step. According to the communication with the customer, we use high-quality greystone material to make this custom Sir Dawda Jawara marble bust statue. The carving process of the marble bust is also hand-carved by our professional carving masters. Our masters have decades of experience in carving and they are able to skillfully grasp the details of carving and polishing. Therefore, the marble bust was quickly completed.
Installation and Feedback:
After the customer received this custom marble statue, the club and committee began to install it. They first made a granite base to place the statue. And we learned that the plaque on the granite base was presented by Mr. Elliot Kwamla Manly. Due to the fact that the club cannot be opened during the COVID-19 pandemic, it has not found a suitable time to hold a ceremony for this statue. On May 16, 2021, which coincides with the 97th anniversary of the birth of President Sir Dawda Jawara, the club held the inauguration ceremony of this memorial.
