There Are Six Steps to Modify the Clay Model
Step 1: Compare the clay sculptures made now according to the reference photos, and find the differences. First of all, we mainly find the difference according to the three parts of left, middle, and right. The first thing to modify is the angle between the big arm, the small arm, and the wrist. After adjustment, we raised the figure’s arm about ten degrees. Second, we thinned the sculpted wrist a bit and increased the extension of the toe. Step 2: We spent 4 hours adjusting the head shape of the whole figure. Because before the adjustment, the age of the sculpture seemed to be around 40 years old. Our improvement measures are: remove the head of the sculpture. YouFine artist would re-sculpt the head position and modifies the face details. For example, the smile of our sculpture is more beautiful. The final result is that the sculpture has changed from a middle-aged woman in her 40s to a young girl of eighteen or nineteen. Step 3: Our other artist also adjusted the structure and proportions of the chest and collarbone. After the modification, we would start to modify the robe covered by the clay model sculpture. Step 4: Next, our artist begins to modify the feet. We all know that beautiful women’s feet are a little thinner. Therefore, we made the sculpted feet and fingernails more slender and beautiful. Step 5: Our artist adjusted the degree of folds on the back of the robe for the entire sculpture. In addition, the artist also greatly removed a lot of mud from the back. As a result, the entire back of the sculpture is much thinner. Therefore, the figure of this sculpture is more slender.
Step 6: The artist begins to matte and softens the entire body of the sculpture. Therefore, our artists are very patient with makeup brushes to beautify every part of the sculpture.
