Marble Two Merlion Fountain MOK1-046

This is a white Merlion fountain using natural marble as raw material. This fountain is different from the common Merlion fountain design.

It is the design of the Merlion statue and matches the pool and fountain core to form a new design. It seems to be inspired by the Merlion.

Merlion Fountain Introduction:

The two Merlions face each other, and the water flow could not only spray from the mouth of the Merlion but also form a beautiful water curtain in the middle of the fountain core.

This design is very unique and not conventional. So using such a fountain as a garden decoration would bring a wonderful landscape.

What Is The Behind Story Merlion?

The Merlion is a mythical creature with a lion-headed fish body and is widely used as Singapore’s mascot and national avatar. There are two Merlion statues in the park. The original Merlion structure was 8.6 meters high and spewed water from its mouth.

The merlion’s fish-like body symbolizes Singapore’s origins in a fishing village called Temasek – a name that is cognate with the word task (“lake” in Malay). The head of the statue represents the city’s original name, Singapura (Lion City in Sanskrit).

So Merlion fountains like this are very popular with customers in Singapore.
