We cast a life-size bronze footballer statue of legendary footballer Gerard Cieślik of the Polish national team. This bronze artwork serves as a monument in front of the Silesian Stadium. The 170 cm tall sculpture shows Gerard Cieślik standing with his arms crossed and his left leg resting on a ball.
In addition, the outstanding football player wears the uniform of the Polish national team. Of course, our artists cast the details of the clothes very realistically and delicately. And, the monument is made of bronze and weighs more than 160 kilograms. The footballer statue stands on a stone base and is decorated with commemorative plaques as a whole.
The Legend of Gerard Cieślik:
Gerard Cieślik is without a doubt one of the greatest figures in Polish sport, and Silesian sports, and an important contributor to the city of Chorzów, especially the Ruch Chorzów sports club. People thanked him for everything he did for Polish sport by dedicating the monument.
Gerard Cieślik was born on April 29, 1927, in Hajduki. He is a legendary player for Ruch Chorzów, for which he scored 167 goals in 237 games. He played for the Polish national team from 1947-1958 and died on November 3, 2013. The sculpture is primarily one of Chorzów’s commemorations of Gerard Cieślik. Gerard Ceslik is an icon of Silesian and Polish football. Champion and representative of Poland, Olympian, and role model for the younger generation of footballers.
Confirms the Completion of the Clay Model in One Go:
First, our artists would make clay models before casting bronze footballer statues. During the construction of the clay model, our artists perfectly represented the athlete’s body contour, facial expression, and size. This stage took the artist less than two weeks. Obviously, you could feel the skilled technical ability of our artists. And, our sculptures have a very high degree of detail reduction and accuracy of expression.
Traditional Lost Wax Method:
This bronze athlete figure monument is made of bronze and weighs more than 160 kilograms. Additionally, the sculpture stands on a stone plinth and a commemorative plaque is inlaid throughout the sculpture. Our bronze sculptures are cast using the traditional lost wax method. Also, during the casting process, our artists use silica sol technology, which prevents white spots from appearing on the surface of the sculpture. Because once the white spot sculpture is about to crack and damage. Then, the placement of our sculptures in public places could withstand the erosion of wind and rain.
This bronze figure sculpture reproduces the wonderful moments of Gerard Cheslick after kicking the ball. We hope to pass on the memory of Gerard Cheslick to all who visit Sluski Stadium.
